    This plugin offers two basic commands to save and teleport to your home position.
    Please leave some feedback and/or criticism below.

    <font color="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Setup:</font>
    1. Extract the "HomeX.jar" from the "HomeX.zip" folder to your plugins directory.
    2. Restart your server or use the reload command.

    <font color="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Commands:</font>
    * /sethome
    * /home

    <font color="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Permissions:</font>
    * HomeX.sethome
    * HomeX.home
    * HomeX.* (for both commands)

    Changelog:

    * Removed some unnecessary code.
    * Updated to the latest Bukkit build.
    * Removed delay function (there are warmup/cooldown <font color="rgb(16, 97, 179)">plugins</font>).
    * Updated for the latest Permissions version.

    * Set a delay in seconds, if the delay does not equal 0 players will be teleported after the determined amount of seconds (plugins/HomeX/data.txt).
    * Disable the home command for all players except Operators, search for the line "enabled=" in "plugins/HomeX/data.txt" and put true or false behind "enabled=".

    * Rewrote and cleanup of the whole code.
    * Plugin saves X, Y, Z, Yaw and Pitch (Exact Spawn).
    * Players are able to save their homes for different worlds (Multiworld support).

    I love the mod!

    I think it would be cool to only allow you to teleport if not moving like a "channeling" ability. This way, you can't run away from monsters waiting for the delay affect to go off.

    Def, the first thing i did was jump off a cliff with a delay timer to see if it worked :p

    Yeah maybe, I am a bit scared of mybe gettin trolled because I made some bad experiences in the past. But I think I will put up a link soon.

    Cool. I think that you might be able to make it as an enabled option in your configuration file? In my opinion, I like the ability to have any player able to go to their set Home location, I just find that some players not being as careful diving into a HUGE battle to just be able to TP out, even with a delay.

    It's your call either way. haha.

    There is an enabled option when you put false their players cant teleport home. And for the delay if a player moves while the delay is running he wont be teleported.

    That could be the reason because sometimes I play on peaceful and I didn't even realize it. I've been playing on Normal for a while and I haven't seen invisible mobs bug.

    Sorry. I think I didn't explain myself right. Originally you said that you don't want to create bad experiences for players. This was in response to my first post regarding the delay. I understand that you have an enable in your configuration file as well as a delay.

    What I had meant by adding an enable function was in response to my suggestion on the delay mechanic tweak.

    Let me just re-explain my idea so that we are both on the same page.


    I love the ability to have a /home and /sethome function for all players. However, in the past few weeks that I have been using this mod, I have found a few circumstances that I did NOT like being able to TP out. I have found that even using the delay function, I don't like that you can run into about 50 enemies and still be able to TP. You could just type the command, then run away/kite the monsters as you wait for the delay timer to finish. My idea in adding the channeling ability would make it so that you couldn't "engage" in other things while you wait. I thought that by making you wait, like you were "casting the spell" or whatever you would still be able to use it, just not in really "tight" situations. You then made the comment about making bad experiences which i then suggested an enable for MY idea, in addition to the one that you have already added. That's all.

    Ah now I understand I am sorry, I think I wont add it as an enabled thing for this one but make it just build in. A delay makes no sense when you are able to run away. Im gonna include your idea but I think nobody needs to turn it off.

    This definetly sounds like the best home plugin available..
    Can we get it working with Bukkit #670, and will it still be supported at the 1.5 release of minecraft and all that?
    We need a good, simple mod for our server, and the delay where you cant move is just genius. Please oh please continue to support this mod :)

    Yes I will continue working and supporting it today, I have to admit that I lost some interest at programming but I will still update this plugin.

    Since MyHome is dead, is there any chance of you adding a cooldown option to this? Ideally with a prompt to let the user know once they've cooled down, and an updated countdown if the user attempts to use /home while cooling down.

    I use it like a 'hearthstone' for my players, they get a free teleport to /home, but only once every hour.

    HELP!!!!
    i'm very new to this, so forgive me.
    But where is the homeX.jar file? i downloaded the zip and found two folders and a file:
    De - which, after opening the rest of the folders inside it, leads to data.class, homeX.class, homeX$1.class
    META-INF - which contains Manifest.mf
    plugin.yml
    What do i do? can someone give me a more detailed installation guide?

    Why does everyone open the .jar file?! Open the .zip folder and extract the .jar file which is inside the .zip folder.

    Could I ask you additional function for delay(not cooldown)?
    And I want this additional function in SpawnX, too.
     
  27. Request: Make an option so you are limited to a single home point, while usable in any world. So you get to pick place to have as home no matter if its normal or nether or some extra world. But setting another any place will remove the old one. My users are using it as free teleport nodes in various worlds and i cant disable it in specific world cause there are some people actually living there too.

    This plugin and SpawnX is having problems with CB #818. Sometimes when I use /spawn or /home to teleport healthy distance. ONE chunk doesn't load where I stand while everything else loads. It only happen couple times, not that often.

    EDIT: It is just a bukkit bug. ChunkLoad and BananaChunk plugins prevents that from happening.
