So I had to fix a map, and downloaded it, mcedited it, and uploaded it, and changed it's name to world.8. I set the world path to world.8 to see if it worked, which it did. I changed it's name back to world and replaced the old file. I also erased world.8 from multiverse config. But on startup it keeps generating the worlds, world.8, world.8_nether, world.8_the_end.

Have you double checked your server.properties along with your multiverse config files?

It's right there in your server.properties
    Change: level-name=world.8 to level-name=world

It doesn't seem to work. The problem persist. "preparing level=world"

Your first post states that the problem is that it keeps generating the worlds world.8, world.8_nether, world.8_the_end. Are those 3 worlds still being generated after fixing server.properties? Is there another problem now if that one is solved?

I think so. I fixed server.properties, but it still is trying to generate them

I'm sorry but I don't see what else might be causing it. I'm not familiar enough with multiverse to know if there is anything else I should be looking at.

Looking at the MV wiki... you might think about trying a /mv list If the .8 worlds are listed you could try a
/mv delete <world> which should remove them from any MV files and delete the folders for them.

When I go on I am in some weird place, then I try to /mvtp world but it says it's unsafe, so I do /mvconfirm and am in a wall. I then did //unstuck and was back to where I just was! Also the creative world seems to be gone although Its still in my servers files. I don't get it and need help fast. People can't play on the server, and it's been down for a while.

WhitePhoenix0 ingame /mv remove name if that doesn't work go to your worlds config with multiverse and remove the world manually restart your server then remove the file out of your server!

An update on the problem is that I can't get to my main world, it says it's in a dangerous location, so I go there in creative, and it's definently not my main world.

dude. Go into your multiverse folder. There is this file called 'world'. go inside and edit it with NotePad++ or something. After you open it you'll see a list of world. Delete the world that you want to delete by simply select the world and its property.
