My idea for a plugin... An admin can use a custom command to mute the person /[command_name] But... instead of muting the user, whenever the user will chat, it will be changed for a preloaded message(s) configured by the admin such as "I like rainbow unicorns" or "I've been banned from chatting because I suck". I don't code in java, so I can't code this. Who can?
Why not just get the many mute plugins out there. Having it display a message when they try to chat will be the worst idea ever. They will just spam and cause "I lIke RainBoWs" message to show up and annoy everyone even more than the player was before.
heh that's what you think. Any average person would just type as fast as they can and spam the message to annoy the crap out of everyone else. Won't solve any problem. Just get a mute plugin or use essentials.
lmfao essentials /mute (player) Time It also has pre set msg so when player types something a msg will be sent say "you are muted"
It would probably be more aggravating to the muted player if you didn't tell them they are muted; so they see their messages and assume everyone else does too, but are ignored.
