Another Option, On Hold

I think there show be another option called "On Hold" instead/or with Inactive so people know you're still developing it but the next update might be a while? Also if a plugin has been inactive for 3 weeks or so it should be put On Hold and then 1.5-2 months, Inactive?

No, Inactive to me means, don't expect another update for a long time, but On Hold can mean the next update might be small/later than usual

Edit: Or it can be used for files such as:

vX.X.X is On Hold "enter custom message here"

v1.1.0 is On Hold because Jozeth is waiting for some code and fixing some bugs

 

That is what Inactive is meant to accomplish.

 

Fair enough but allow (approved) custom messages?
