    Multiverse 2 - World Creation/Management/Teleportation & More​

    Description
    Multiverse 2 is a ground up rewrite of the popular Multiverse plugin for CraftBukkit. There are many new features, the biggest one being the much better usability and cleaner code! MV2 has been in the works for over 2 months and given the size of it, the developers are confident that you'll find a small bug or two. Please come into our IRC channel and discuss politely with us and we'll get it resolved quick-fastly!

    People can't log into my 1060 Bukkit Server!:
    Are you using spout? If so, you need to upgrade it to a dev version or disable it until those guys release a 1060 compatible version.

    How do I know if I'm running CB XXXX or higher?:
    Type /version. The number here is your CB version:

    I'm getting an internal server error everytime i use on of these commands. do i need to put the permissions in 1 by 1 even if i gave myself full permissions? or is it something else. i'm also getting it with magic carpet.

    Sounds like an incorrect version of Permissions or something dodgy going on.

    By looks of things this is a Minecraft/CB issue... problem with multiple threads etc and lack of synchronization from a quick look at it.

    Think it might be one of the things flagged on github to fix.

    Is there any current way to set the rotation of a player once they've used a portal? I keep on smacking into walls once I jump through mine.

    Like just face NESW or turn 90/180% would be nice.

    Edit: Nevermind. For some bizarre reason my Worlds.yml file was completely blank. All other MultiVerse files were fine. How odd :/

    hmm looks like somethings happened to your 'worlds.yml' file... cant seem to grab the 'worlds' node or something. Can you pastebin your worlds.yml?

    Happened again - literally 10 mins after bringing the server up it will crash

    Hey, I still have the same problem as yesterday... and i really have no idea what to do.

    To resume again: One of the moderators on my server crashed inside the nether. Now he cant build at all. We tryed the following:

    -Going thru the portal to each world at least 20x
    -Deleting his player.dat file 5x
    -Restarted the server 2x
    -Died in both world 10x
    -Relogged 30x
    -Changed permissions 5x

    I dont know what to try now... is there any other place where player info is stored ? He is starting to think to buy a new account >_>.

    Please help.

  15. You were right, the file was emptied for some reason. Still can't work out why though.
    Also, any change of an option that lets you add people to the world's individual whitelists from ingame.
    so to add 'xxy' to world1's whitelist, i could type /mcwhitelist add xxy when in the world1 world?
    Or is this already implemented?

    Could it be possible that the problem be from a mysql database ? I dont think since none of the possible responsible plugins have sql dependencies... but who knows...

    Basicly, use the Wood Pickaxe Left-Click one corner of the hole/door/location you want to be your portal then Right-Click the other corner on the otherside (eg. Left-Click Bottom Left, Right-Click Top Right).

    Type: "/mvpc PortalName1 <Destination>" (type "p:portalName2: for another portal or "w:WorldName" for another world)

    If you are doing Portal to Portal you can set the destination for it first then create it later.

    I had the same problem. It went away when I disabled iConomy support in the config. Just an idea to try...

    I'm not entirely sure if this has been asked... But is there anyway to make player specific portals? I'm an admin and sometimes it's nice to run away to my own little world, but I want to do it via the nice big portal I built for myself instead of using the /mvtp command.

    Also, when I do /mvtp to my world, I dont appear at the set spawn point, I get this error:

    You can make a portal out of thin air, basically you select two coordinates and create a portal and set a destination, if anything enters between those 2 coordinates they are teleported to the destination.

    I can honestly say i've never heard of this happening... can he remove/rename his minecraft folder and completely redownload everything Minecraft wise... so the launcher which will then install Minecraft and such.

    Have you tried disabling multiworld and getting him to login and test? Nothing in the plugin itself should be preventing him from doing such, all I can think is Bukkit.

    Another plugin conflicting and preventing them from spawning? By mobs you mean monsters? Have you got Animals set to true as well, think they both need to be true in order for Monsters to spawn.

    By normal world do you mean the default one? if so I think that still follows the server.properties setting.

    hmm should be no reason for disabling iConomy to fix spawning... all this does is tells the plugin to charge the player x amount for use.

    Hopefully it was just a coincidence... because if its true then theres a serious flaw in the plugin and its config and setup.

    hmm, theres world blacklisting but not portal blacklisting... thats to come.

    Yes the error with teleporting is known, the game thinks your speedhacking and such because you immediately end up at a different coordinate to what you should of been etc... I did have a fix for this however it broke one of the border guard plugins. I might re-add this fix as it is nice to be placed in the correct position all the time.

    Need more details... pastebin your server log etc... did you reload permissions? restart server etc...

    basically if that pops up it either means incorrect Permissions version or you indeed don't have the permissions :).

    Ok, after teleporting again to nether-world, the monsters have disappered from there aswell.

    By normal I meant like this:

    world = default, primary world, no monsters
    mobzone = secondary normal world (as in not nether style), monsters
    nether = nether with monsters

    I think the settings are ok and difficulty is set to normal.

    Seems like monsters works once on other worlds and next time they are gone for good. I didnt change any settings.

    ah no, need to update my todo list and such.

    It probably won't hit until the moduled version of the plugin which should be shortly, providing I can remember to implement it. Atm the Core of the plugin works as well as SignBased portals... just need to fix up more and implement SPLike portals and custom portals.

    Thanks for the answer regarding portal creation. I had misunderstood and thought I had to mark two blocks under me, rather than two blocks that I can walk between.
